Awesome. The devil is just want you want to see as your environment card when you’re about to go work a long retail shift. “The Tarot deck has many high points and some low ones as well, just like life in general. There is no finessing card #15, The Devil. It is not a good thing to get this card in your reading.”
Card 1, within: Queen of Disks
Last seen on May 27th in the 2nd position.
When you have been nurtured into a place of happiness or are bettering a person, yourself or a situation, expect the Queen of Pentacles to appear in your Tarot reading.
General: This card can indicate that you will be spending time, money, and energy on your home, getting it to be more comfortable.
Work: You are likely to make great headway now. A woman with dark hair and/or eyes may play a significant role in your working life; if so, know that she is an ally for you.
Card 2, without: XV The Devil
Introduction: The Devil is not as frightening a card to interpret as the depiction on most cards indicates. It is a card about bondage but often this bondage is metaphoric and internal. With this card you are called to look beyond superficial appearances and to go deeper into the truth and meaning of a situation. You also are asked to remember that when you’re feeling restrained you nearly always hold the keys to your own freedom. Don’t give up hope!
General: It’s important for you to remember that no matter what your situation, that you always have options to choose from. First things first, don’t let other people tell you that your options are limited. If you come to that conclusion, be sure that you are coming to it on your own. Regardless, it will be crucial to remember that you can free yourself from whatever restrictions are holding you back, at any time you choose to do so. You may have the feeling now that you are not in control of your life; sometimes this happens as a result of your own actions, but more often as a byproduct of inaction. So, take action, take whatever steps you can to give yourself the feeling, however slight, of being in control. Even if that is merely making a choice on what you are going to have for dinner. Small steps are important, too. I brought up the “where should we have dinner after?” thing last night.
Keywords: Cages, prisons, bondage. Hell. Lies, illusions. The need to keep solidarity in your beliefs, continue to do what is right no matter what should happen. Use the power and force of your fate for good, channel and direct it towards your destiny rather than your destruction.
In the present position, this card’s appearance is your wake up call. You are hooked into something and may not even realize it. It could be the mindset of being a victim, or it could be the need to have a buzz before facing the day. You are being held back by something that you willingly embraced, at least initially. Perhaps your once great lover has become an embittered hater who takes out his resentments on you with verbal abuse. Whatever the case, The Devil card here acknowledges that a terrible connection in your life right now is chaining you down from being whom you truly are.
Card 3, advice; 4 of Cups
Last seen on May 22nd in the 1st position.
Introduction: The 4 of Cups is a card about wishful thinking. It warns us to remember to pay attention to what “is” now, and the many blessings we each currently experience, and not to worry too much about “what could be.” It is all too easy to overlook what we already have in the pursuit of what we don’t have.
General: Be sure that you are “counting your blessings.” Don’t spend too much time in self-pity or wishing your life away. A lot of life has to do with where we put our focus. Put your focus on the things and people in your life that you have to be thankful for. Consider a gratitude journal.
The Four of Cups is a stubborn, ungrateful and self-absorbed card. The appearance of this card insists that your detachment from being part of the world is becoming an issue. It’s true I don’t reach out to friends anymore at ALL, with only a few exceptions. I got tired of people asking if I’d found “real” work. I found myself unable to pretend to be perky about it. It’s not like I can actually travel to see anyone anymore, and no one visits, so… What’s the point of communicating? Regarding the “bondage” of The Devil, I took the steps to change the stuckness of my NYC life and I thought about it long & hard. I picked a town that has fairly decent public transportation (for the centrally located) and is a main center of the athletics industry, where I had at least one strong connection. I expected to secure my new design job, 100%, within three to six months.
The future position is actually a strong placement for this card and one that is more often beneficial to you than the card’s reputation might indicate. The Four of Cups takes on a wisdom of selective standards. The older we get, the more we know what to avoid as our intellect combines with experience to make us turn down certain offers. What is attractive to you at one age is repulsive later in life. When this card is in this position, you will be growing wise and learning what to just not bother with anymore.
