Card 1, within: Page of Cups

Last seen in this same position on June 4th & on May 29th.

Initiators of heart.

Questions to Answer:

  1. Who depends on you emotionally?
  2. What does your intuition say to do?
  3. How can you serve others?
  4. Who offers unqualified, non-judgmental love?

Introduction: When the Page of Cups appears, it’s a signal to allow the childlike side of yourself to come forward. Like most of the Cups suit, the Page is an uplifting and encouraging sign to receive in a tarot reading. It also can indicate that someone – likely someone who is younger than you, is coming your way before long with a message for you.

General: In general, this card shows a need to play, to dream, to have a little fun. When this card appears, it sometimes means that you’ve been taking yourself far too seriously. Margot Fonteyn said “The one important thing I have learned over the years is the difference between taking one’s work seriously and taking one’s self seriously. The first is imperative and the second is disastrous.” Know the difference.

Work: Even if things have been lousy in your job for the last ten years, the appearance of this card shows that there is cause for hope and positive anticipation. No matter who you are, you have professional options. Life can change on a dime, and sometimes those changes are positive. If you’re unhappy in your current work, know that you hold the key to changing it.

This is the card of getting to know the familiarity of love all over again.

Keywords: Unconditional love, non judgment, do what is right, right thoughts, right emotions, right actions.

Card 2, without: XVI The Tower

This card is the Tarot’s way of acknowledging that the rapid transformation occurring in your world is due to forces beyond your control. Be it a stirring of Mother Nature or the impact of someone else’s economic decisions on your life, understand that these are circumstances with which you had little if any influence over.

In the present position, anything goes with this card. Relationships, jobs, financial circumstances … any situation could be affected. The chaos unleashed by The Tower in this position usually affects one area of your life, but the affects are thorough. You may lose a job, but your love relationship will grow stronger as a result. You might get dumped, but you will get an easier work schedule that boosts your pay. Juxtapositions of absence/abundance are inevitable. I’m actually pleased to see this card here today.

The liberation of divine light through the phallus that is the tower. Kundalini.

Questions to Answer:

  • How are you improving and restructuring yourself and your environment?
  • What are you angry about?
  • What structures in your life are breaking up?

Keywords: Initiation, liberation, power, dominion, destruction of illusions and conventions, dissolution of individuality. Freedom from unnecessary things which are no longer part of your reality.

Card 3, advice: Page of Wands

Initiators of spirit.

The future position is a positive place for the Page of Wands card. This shows that a bright future of new adventures and creative expression will be yours after the current trials pass on.

General: In general, this card indicates that things that you started some time ago are starting to come to fruition. It can also show a need for new things – new adventures, new approaches, and new ideas. The Page brings us positive energy. We must supply the follow-through, however.

Spirituality: This can be a very creative time for you, and a good time for you to actually become childlike… dream, play, be inventive. You never know what your creations during this time might come to, and at any rate you will enjoy yourself and this play will deepen and enrich your life.

Keywords: Divine inspiration, faith, enthusiasm, great heart. Messenger and message of God. Miracles. Strength of hearth and faith is sometimes far more powerful than strength or age of body. Follow your heart courageously, fearlessly.

  1. What new territories or ideas are you checking out?
  2. Who is calling you?
  3. Who is enthusiastic about your endeavors and looks up to you as a mature adult?
  4. What actions are you risking to take?
  5. What are you all fired up about?
