HIITmax week 1, v3

  • (10/30), 3 rounds with 2min breaks between rounds: 52min
  • Days 1-3

* with 8lb vest
* Cardio: skipping

  1. Squat jumps
  2. Dead lift, squat, alt lunges, 40lbs
  3. Star jumps
  4. Lunge forward with SA press,up, 15lbs
  5. Other side
  6. Wide leg frogger , keep feet just outside mat & jump forward & back
  7. Surfer ½ Burpees
  8. Tricep dips, with switch kick
  9. Step up, kick backs ,20lbs Too light! Change to 30.
  10. Other side
  11. Squat & press, push,up, tuck jump, 30lbs Simplify for a 30-sec interval
  12. Kettlebell swings, 35lbs

* with 8lb vest
* Cardio: burpees

  1. Half burpee with upright row – 20lbs
  2. C-sit tuck & press, 20lbs (+ 3lbs bet feet)
  3. Clean & press – 40lbs
  4. 4 Ski abs , 1 push-up jack
  5. Wide leg mountain climbers
  6. Elevated push,ups – lifting alternate leg up
  7. Front & back lunge & lift (30lbs) – left up & lunge back. Try to lift up & lunge forward w/out touching floor
  8. Other side
  9. Front raise 20lbs
  10. Tricep lean forward, push,up & tuck jump
  11. Jackknife, pike press abs – 10 lbs
  12. Around the world – 20lbs

* no vest
* Cardio: mountain climbs /  jump overs (bench)

  1. Mat jumps
  2. Tuck abs, press up, V feet – 20lbs
  3. Pike press push,ups, feet elevated, hands pointing inward
  4. Tuck abs / v-abs
  5. Rows, 40lbs
  6. Elevated push,ups, pull 1 knee into chest & then change
  7. Overhead triceps – 20lbs
  8. Plank, arm outstretched, leg lift, then swing leg forward & touch– 5lbs
  9. Other side
  10. Reclined tricep, 20lbs
  11. Oblique crunches
  12. other side

Yoga

  • Suryas & fundamentals, handstand-y
  • Rack 1min
  • Urdhva D to standing & 3 drop backs
  • Finishing to Sirsasana D (my way w/ one additional part)
  • An improvised LBH and I got an upper ab cramp on the 2nd side, left leg in! First time that’s ever happened. Obviously haven’t figured out where to happily incorporate LBH into my express yoga yet.
